Intro Comp Website Rubric

Weebly Website

1. The first page is an Introduction page. This should have a current human school appropriate picture of you. Use this as a way to describe you as a person. this may include interests, hobbies, extra curricular activities etc.

2. The second page will be labeled "My Digital Foot Print". This page should include your screenshot of your visual organizer created in Thing 5 Quest 2 of 21things4students.

3. The third page will be called " Who Am I Online" This page will include a background picture on your animated avatar that you have created. Go to Bitstrips.com to do this.Ask me if you have any problems with uploading the picture to your google docs.

Digital Media 21Things/DigitalCitizenship

Website Criteria
1.         Create an homepage/introduction page about yourself.  This should include information about you, and could include your future goals, career objective, education, interests, and skills. Think of this as a mini-online resume. Title this page “Introduction”
2.        Make a screen shot of Thing 5 quest 2. “Visual Organizer of Digital Footprint” This will be added as a page to your site labeled Digital Footprint.   
3.     Create another page that you will label as a Resource page. This resource page will include the link to your Diigo account, and your Symbaloo account.

4.    Each page should have a different photo or image.

5.     Place a current picture on you home page.


6.     The next page will include the “Avatar image” you created of yourself, and you will label that page “Who Am I Online”

Digital Media (Khan Academy)

Students working on Khan Academy, your websites should have and Introduction page, and a Khan Academy page. Screenshot the finished products of your assignments, and post them on your Khan Academy page.

You should also have a page that displays your Avatar that you created. That page should be labeled  "Who am I online"

11-9-15 Digital Media


Follow the Instructions on the 21things site. and create a page labeled. "The Core Rules of Netiquette"

Step 2:  Explore online etiquette by reading the "10 Rules of Netiquette". The Core Rules of Netiquette are taken from the book Netiquette by Virginia Shea. Click on each rule to learn about good manners when writing on the internet. As you read these rules, ask yourself "Why are they important?" Can you think of any others that could be added to this list?

Rule 2: Adhere to the same standards of behavior online that you follow in real life

Rule 3: Know where you are in cyberspace

Rule 4: Respect other people's time and bandwidth

Rule 5: Make yourself look good online

Rule 9: Don't abuse your power

Rule 10: Be forgiving of other people's mistakes


Use Google Images to find pictures that correspond to the definition of each link.
