The themes of the novel relate to the title through the notion of positive and empowered perspective. Celie and other characters in the novel grow and change with age, coming to recognize that individuals possess the power to choose how to express their own nature and how to actively be "themselves".

What is Globalization?

Globalization is a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of different nations, a process driven by international trade and investment and aided by information technology.





Analyze:  Break down in order to bring out the essential elements or structure: Globalization

Describe: Give a detailed account: Cottage Industry (give examples of some that you may know of personally)

To what extent:Consider the merits or otherwise of an argument or concept. Opinions and conclusions should be presented clearly and supported with appropriate evidence and sound argument: Effects of US globalization relating to terrorism foreign and domestic. Explain why one could spur the other.


Compare and contrast: Give an account of similarities and differences between two (or more) items or situations, referring to both (all) of them throughout: Subsistence Agriculture/Commercial Agriculture. Give examples of certain crops to be used in both situations
