Using the notes from the link posted on Monday, students will use the LINK template to create a Study guide for :

In the first square in the Answer Template (List), list everything that comes to mind about the topic of colonization and settlement.  Give yourself only a few minutes. If nothing comes to mind, please make some scholarly guesses to show that you tried.  You are only penalized if nothing is recorded in the box or you have listed something that is way too far fetched.

In the second square (Inquire), write three questions you need answered to gain a better understanding of the topic (colonization & settlement).  You will be given a few minutes to ask me or a peer your question(s).

The third square pertains to notes.  please read the three sections mentioned below in your notes pertaining to the three topics.

9-23-19 US History

Students will out line the reading in a main idea per subtitle format, using "Talking to the Text" strategies to help with comprehension after each main idea.

Main Idea:

A. Early Americans crossed at the Bering straight from Asia  to enter the Americas and traveled all the way to South America

Leadership 9-18-19

Leadership students will use the current event template to research two types of leadership styles. Find 4 current events using the news links on the template to find stories representing both  Democratic, and Communist leaders.

US History 9-17-19

Students will work in groups from yesterday. All groups will complete The 5 five themes of Geography activity. In order to get full credit, all group members must be present.

After the written submission, all students will complete the puzzle together in a timed sequence. After completion, students will screenshot ( one student will screen shot and email to other members of the group including teacher.) the picture of the puzzle complete with the time of completion.
