Digital Media Final Exam Project

Mr. Wade Rm. 609     Digital Media I                       Final Exam      2015-2016

This year’s final exam will require that students create a live binder/portfolio consisting of assignments and concepts related to Common Sense Media (Digital Citizenship https://www.commonsensemedia.org/educators/scope-and-sequence), the “21 Things 4 Students” curriculum as well as other Web based items that were listed in the course syllabus.  Students will create an account by going to http://www.livebinders.com/welcome/home . All work included in the live binder are assignments that students should have already completed and have stored in their Google Drive.

All numbers in bold print should be a Tab. Any item with a letter should be a sub-tab of a numbered item. Each student will be required to have the following information included in their portfolio, so please arrange the tabs of the binder in the following order:

Live Binder Information:

1.      Digital Footprint

2.      Cyber Safety Students will upload a copy of the 9 themes of Digital Citizenship and the written essay on “ What it takes to be a Digital Citizen”

3.      Be Legal and Fair

Student will upload the question and answers from Quest 1 of Be Legal and Fair as well as the completed quiz. You can upload the copy of the certificate with the quiz.

4.      Trouble Shooting

Student will upload the finished essay on Trouble shooting computer problems as well as the Visual Organizer/Flow chart created in class.

5.      A copy of the Link to the Student created Weebly Website.

6.      Khan Academy:

Students who have been working on Khan Academy post the links or Screen shot 10 of your favorite drawing and animation projects. Each project should be a Tab in you livebinder.
