Intro to Comp Final Exam Project      2015-2016

This year’s final exam will require that students create a live binder/portfolio consisting of assignments and concepts related to the “21 Things 4 Students” curriculum as well as other items that were listed in the course syllabus.  Students will create an account by going to http://www.livebinders.com/welcome/home . All work included in the live binder are assignments that students should have already completed and have stored in their Google Drive.

All numbers in bold print should represented by a tab and sub-tab.  Each student will be required to have the following information include in their portfolio, so please arrange the tabs of the binder in the following order:

1. Student Checklist

2. Basics

a. Quest 3 (Wacky Shortcuts)

b. Quest 4 (Browser shortcuts)

c. Quest 7 (Vocabulary List)

3. Visual Learning

                a. Quest 1 (Fire Rescue)

                b. Quest 2 (Thrill Ride)

                c. Quest 3 (QR Code)

4. Collaboration

Students will upload the finished copy of the “Nothing Gold Can Stay” poem by Robert Frost Passage from the collaboration quests.

5. Digital Footprint

Students will upload a copy of their graphic organizer displaying the Web their individual Web Presence. (Thing 5 Quest 2)

6. Cyber Safety Students will upload a copy of the 9 themes of Digital Citizenship and the written essay on

what it takes to be a Digital Citizen

7. Be Legal and Fair

Student will upload the questions and answers from Quest 1 of the Be Legal and Fair Thing, as well as the completed quiz. You can upload the copy of the certificate with the quiz.

8. Trouble shooting

Student will upload the finished essay on troubleshooting computer problems as well as the Visual organizer/Flow chart created in class.
