Black History Month Project Slide Presentation

The presentation will be in the form of a time line consisting of earliest to most recent. It should be complete with dates and visual representations of the events that are listed below. Students are encouraged to use web based pictures and other media to represent the events and people involved. Please list and identify important people involved in each movement Students must coordinate the time and events with both the United States and Africa. Apply the What,What, When, Where, Why, and How to be descriptive of each topic. This will be worked on in class as well as outside of class if necessary.

Scramble for Africa/European Colonialism
Examples of Black Nationalism in America
Reconstruction and the 13th 14th and 15th Amendments

African independence movement/ Civil rights movement
